See other listings for matching items. Carefully hand-felted from 100% raw sheep wool with soap and water. The felt is hand rolled into balls, dried in the sun on the workshop roof and then hand-stitched in the workshop. Wool is one of the most sustainable fabrics in existence; renewable and biodegradable, it requires relatively little water for its production. Wool has natural antibacterial properties. Handmade in a small workshop in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. Women hand-felt all the small wool balls, which are dried en mass in the sun and then hand-stitched together to create our coasters, mats and rugs. AURA QUE started working with the group in 2019. AURA QUE products are individually handcrafted and the unique story behind each AURA QUE product enhances its charm!
